This episode is so helpful, I’m 29 and turning 30 in December. I really need to be on top of my finances. It’s so easy in the summer to drop money being outside, but I recently had a terrible eating out experience that was a huge wake up call. It was such a waste of money.
I love to buy things that are sale if not it’s staying on the shelf now if I have the extra money I’ll do it once in awhile if not . Sometimes it’s a lil hard to budget sometimes extra unexpected expenses come or thinks okay this week or another you put a lil money stash away 😅😅 every thing you said was spot on a true facts all the way thanks so much for the tips we just gotta adjust a lil more
I'm all set in the beauty category, I'm pretty minimal and simplistic. But the food...omg. I have seriously been eating fast food too much and I literally feel like crap and spending $10 on a burger and fries regularly is crazy. I'm planning on making a big salad for the week and just adding a protein and side. I also LOOOOVE online grocery shopping. I can really see how much I'm spending as I add stuff to my cart.
I love these topics. I live in a touristic country and Summer time here in Tanzania is crazy as all your friends want to go out. ANd I am just starting to say 'that's not in my budget right now'

(Btw braids are beautiful please don’t feel bad if you’re not in a position for whatever reason to wear or do your hair natural) 🤍 but I am curious about what you mean by “my curl pattern doesn’t allow me to be curly” cause I had this issue before/thought the same thing!
@@theglowupsecretspodcast I have a 4c hair pattern, I tried putting the curling cream and curling gel but it doesn’t get the curl pattern I see on Pinterest. It just gets puffy 😂😂. So I am not sure if I am doing it wrong. Braids are my go to when I don't want to deal with my hair. Loved your episode, so many practical tips!
Pinterest helped me be frugal cause I decided on what I like BEFORE spending on anything
